Latin Rap Conference is very proud to announce that for 2008, the 6th Annual event is returning to Los Angeles for its biggest and most powerful convention to date. LRC will make history with the first ever Latino Hip-Hop Awards Show.
The first ever Latino Hip-Hop Awards Show is going down at The Highlands in Hollywood. There will be a Red Carpet for media and special guests from 6pm-7:30pm on November 19, 2008. The awards show will follow from 8pm-11pm. This unprecedented show will include special guest appearances and live performances and tributes as well as awards and educational vignettes, including a short presentation on the history of Latinos in Hip-Hop music, by the Hip-Hop icon Fabel Pabon.
The Latin Rap Conference is the only major music industry convention focusing specifically on the growth, education and empowerment of the Latino Hip-Hop genre (including Reggaeton music). “We are very proud to be hosting the first awards show that will honor artists and companies within the Latino community that have been doing their thing for the growth of Hip-Hop music,” said Jesse Perez, founder and organizer of Latin Rap Conference.
